Minute gastric cancer; White light endoscopy; Narrow-band imaging endoscopy; Indigo carmine; Magnifying endoscopy; Detection; Diagnosis |
Core Tip |
As minute gastric cancers (MGCs) represent the incipient stage of gastric cancer, they may be missed during endoscopy for the maximum diameter ≤ 5 mm. Narrow-band imaging secondary observation combined with indigo carmine third observation could detect the MGCs missed by white light endoscopy. A lesion with a clear demarcation line and a typical neoplastic colour using non-magnifying observation could be diagnosed as MGCs. |
