| Core Tip |
Acetaminophen (APAP) is frequently utilized as a non-prescription medication for reducing fever and relieving pain. However, excessive intake of APAP may result in acute liver injury, liver failure and even death. This study found that C2-FH improved APAP-induced liver injury by alleviating liver tissue injury, inflammation and reducing the accumulation of complement activated products. Our research provided evidence that C2-FH shows potential as a possible treatment for APAP-induced liver injury. |
