Key Words |
Esophageal cancer; Three-dimensional quality structure model; Self-efficacy; Disease management ability |
Core Tip |
Esophageal cancer diagnosis and surgery can lead to anxiety, fear, worry, despair, and other negative emotions. These negative emotions result in long-term negative coping, consequently reducing the patients’ physical function and quality of life. The three-dimensional quality structure nursing evaluation model can improve the postoperative self-efficacy and disease self-management ability of patients with esophageal cancer, enabling them to better deal with the stress caused by the disease and maintain a better psychological status and, ultimately, a higher quality of life. |
