Core Tip The diagnostic process is a very complex path that every doctor has with every patient. The effectiveness of diagnostics gastrointestinal diseases depends on mastery of all methods of the diagnostic algorithm. The doctor receives significant diagnostic assistance from modern disease imaging methods. How to evaluate the results of diagnostic imaging methods? For this, there are effective criteria: sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the method. Only a comprehensive assessment of a large number of diagnostic methods, taking into account the indicators of sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the method, will allow the disease to be correctly identified.
