Core Tip |
This study first analyzed the clinical diagnosis and monitoring value of detecting plasma SHOX2, SEPTIN9, EPO, and RNF180 methylation for esophageal cancer (EC). We revealed sensitivity and specificity of the four DNA plasma methylations exhibited 76.19% sensitivity and 86.27% specificity for detecting EC. And the area under the curve value for this combination was 0.864 (0.809–0.92). The accurate measurement of these four DNA plasma methylations might aid monitoring of therapy efficacy in both Esophageal Adenocarcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma. |
