| Core Tip |
Two enhancement patterns were observed for the hepatobiliary phase on gadoxetic acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): Heterogeneous hyperintense (43%) and ring-like enhancement (57%), and all lesions exhibited a marked homogeneous uptake pattern on superparamagnetic iron oxide-enhanced MRI in patients with focal nodular hyperplasia-like lesions. This finding is of clinical relevance because it is useful for the differential diagnosis of hypervascular liver nodules in patients with chronic liver disease. |
