Periprosthetic tibial fractures after long-stemmed total knee arthroplasties require planning and a personalized approach for each case. We recommend planning intramedullary fixation with long-stemmed implants or revision total knee arthroplasty with intramedullary nailing for fractures localized on the tibial shaft. |
