Core Tip	Coagulation indices [associations of coagulation indices - partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT)] and fibrinogen degradation products (FDP and D-dimer) are significantly correlated with tumor-node-metastasis stage and distant metastasis in gastric cancer. These biomarkers are indicative of abnormal coagulation and fibrinolytic states and provide essential insights into disease progression. Understanding these associations will enhance diagnostic precision and facilitate the development of personalized treatment strategies for patients with gastric cancer.
