Elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels are commonly observed in KD patients, indicating systemic inflammation and liver involvement. Monitoring ALT levels is crucial for assessing disease severity and tailoring personalized treatment interventions. Elevated ALT may indicate broader systemic inflammation and higher risk of complications. Integrating ALT monitoring into routine clinical practice helps in early identification of high-risk patients and timely, appropriate management, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
