Core Tip Currently, surgery is the main treatment for hepatolithiasis. Although surgical methods are significantly effective, increasing incidence and postoperative recurrence have become one of the headaches in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatolithiasis. Therefore, understanding the metabolism of cholesterol, and both dietary and drug interventions to prevent the occurrence and development of hepatolithiasis are of great significance.
