Core Tip We have studied and reviewed the dietary guidelines for probiotics in Europe and now in countries outside the EU. The target has been to observe the use of fermented foods, bacteria meant for fermentation and probiotics and the types of health mesages made for them. We have interesting findings to report and also to classify health messagest to dietary guidelines, clinical guidelines, claims and other messages depending on the research avaialble and dietary recommendations.
