Core Tip This review compiles the available evidence regarding the accuracy and precision of measuring glenohumeral and scapulothoracic motion with electro?magnetic tracking systems and digital inclinometers. These instruments have been found to be adequately reliable and valid with the majority of measurement error originating from operator inaccuracies associated with palpation.
