Core Tip |
Delayed gastric emptying (DGE) after distal gastrectomy is a significant postoperative complication, and appropriate treatment measures are not yet available. This retrospective study investigated the efficacy and safety of self-expandable metallic stents in patients with DGE after gastric surgery. We found that endoscopic stent placement provided prompt relief of obstructive symptoms, with a low rate of complications, and no need for additional surgical interventions. |
