Core Tip |
Currently, the chemoradiation therapy for pancreatic cancer is mainly performed for patients with unresectable or borderline resectable pancreatic cancer (RPC). Although image-guided radiation therapies rely on fiducial marker placement, no standard delivery method has been established and the nature of RPC during chemoradiation therapy remains unclear. In the present study, we report the feasibility and safety of endoscopic ultrasound-guided fiducial marker placement for RPC, as well as the specificity of RPC, including daily tumor positional changes, which are affected by not only respiration but also food intake, fluid intake, and bowel condition. |
