Cystic fibrosis-related diabetes is a heterogeneous entity. Currently, insulin is the agent of choice to maintain euglycemia on this patient population. Novel therapies like glucagon-like peptide-1 agonist offer an opportunity to reevaluate the way we approach this disease. |
