Core Tip Chinese studies showed that human papillomavirus (HPV) infections increased the risk of gastric cancer; however, non-Chinese studies showed no statistical significance. Therefore, the deduced evidence is currently inadequate to conclude that HPV infection is associated with gastric cancer risk.
