Core Tip |
Neural stem cells (NSCs) transplantation is a groundbreaking therapy with therapeutic effects for many neurodegenerative diseases. Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative movement disorder. The ability of NSCs for neural differentiation has been suggested as an effective mechanism in PD subjected to cell transplantation. Here, the potential therapeutic mechanisms, challenges, nano-based support, and manifestations of NSCs in PD were discussed, along with examples of preclinical and clinical studies. |
