Colorectal cancer; Epigenomic alteration; Transcriptome; Methylation-regulated differentially expressed genes |
Core Tip |
Despite enhanced global methylation in colorectal cancer (CRC), both adenoma and CRC share similar methylation patterns. High-grade CRC tends to exhibit elevated methylation levels in gene promoter regions compared to those in low-grade CRC. The integration of gene expression data identified 14 methylation-regulated differentially expressed genes, with AGTR1 and NECAB1 methylation being prognostically significant. |
