As the current COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread and burden the healthcare system all over the world, we must explore all the resources at our disposal to give our patients the best care possible; While laboratory tests and computed tomography imaging are sensitive methods for diagnosis, the increasing burden of disease requires us to effectively utilize bedside ultrasonography to care for more people in a quick and judicious manner; Further, we must continuously look for ways to improve our efficiency while preventing spread of infection within the hospital. |
