Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is difficult to treat. Sorafenib (SFN) is one treatment option. Autophagy has been proposed to play a pivotal role in HCC. In the present study we investigated the role of autophagy in SFN-treated HCC cells. We found that the autophagic responsiveness to SFN is markedly distinct between Hep3B and Huh7 cells. |
