Core Tip |
Enhanced serological antibody formation is a well-known feature of inflammatory bowel diseases. Antiphospholipid antibodies (APLAs) are a prothrombotic group of antibodies acquired in various inflammatory diseases. However their association with clinical phenotype and disease progression is still unclear in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). In the present study we report enhanced formation of APLAs in patients with Crohn’s disease, which was not associated with clinical phenotype or disease course during follow-up in a tertiary referral IBD center from Hungary. |
