| Core Tip |
In this paper, we report our experience over the last 8 years with implanting continuous-flow left ventricular assist devices (LVADs). The aim of this analysis is to identify common occurring complications after LVAD implantation and identify areas for potential improve-ment in both patient management and sele-ction. This is the largest single institutional LVAD experience that has been published, to the best of our knowledge.
