We describe the case of an 11-year-old girl who sustained a ligamentous/periosteal sleeve avulsion type of Lisfranc injury of her right foot that was initially missed in a local Accident and Emergency department. The “mini” TightRope™ syndesmosis device, can be used safely and effectively in children with certain Lisfranc injuries, based on experience in the adult literature. |
