Core Tip |
Only rare cases of fish bone migration to the pancreas have been described in the literature, we report a case of a 32-year-old man who presented with unexplained abdominal pain due to a fish bone penetrating the gastric antrum and migrating in to the neck of pancreas. Clinical symptoms are nonspecific so that correct diagnosis may be delayed, and imaging examination and endoscopic ultrasonography were reported to be the main diagnostic tools. Laparoscopy was an effective method for identifying and removing the fish bone. |
