Core Tip |
5-fluorouracil (5-Fu) is one of the effective treatments for gastric cancer, one of the most common and deadly malignancies around the world. However, the effect of 5-Fu is limited by the drug resistance of gastric cancer. Here we reported that natural extract of Cycas revolute Thunb. could effectively inhibit cell growth, migration and invasion in gastric cancer. Furthermore, it could be used with 5-Fu to enhance its anti-cancer effect by AKT-mTOR pathway. |
