Core Tip This college-based population survey aimed to determine the prevalence and investigate the characteristics of uninvestigated dyspepsia (UD, according to Rome Ⅲ criteria) in Zhejiang Province, China. The overall prevalence of UD was relatively low (5.67% in 1870 students), but female sex and senior (year 4) undergraduate status were represented more frequently among the UD cases. In addition, UD cases were more likely to have concomitant irritable bowel syndrome or gastroesophageal reflux disease, suggesting the existence of common etiologies or molecular mechanisms among these gastrointestinal disorders.
