Core Tip |
As there is a limited number of organs available for transplantation, a successful outcome depends upon a complete evaluation. There is a paucity of data regarding the impact of psychosocial comorbidities and their impact after liver transplantation. Our study found that patients with certain psychosocial comorbidities had worse outcomes after liver transplantation. This work adds to the growing literature that this represents a high-risk population. |
