Acute pancreatitis; Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma; Recurrence; Prognosis; Overall survival; Disease-free survival |
Core Tip |
Patients with moderate or severe acute pancreatitis developed recurrences earlier than those without. Moderate or severe acute pancreatitis is correlated with shorter overall and relapse-free survival of patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. We suggested that surgeons have the urge to decrease complications of ERCP and diagnose timely in order to improve the oncological outcomes of PDAC. |
