Core Tip |
We identified 4 GC cell lines and 66 paired tissues through qRT-PCR, Western
blotting and MSP. Low levels of SPARC expression and high levels of methylation in GC tissues were associated with poor clinical features and prognosis. Restoration of SPARC suppressed GC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, arrested the cell cycle, and increased GC cell apoptosis. Our study found that SPARC could be a target for treating GC individuals. |
