Core Tip |
The emergence of vancomycin-resistant enterococci endophthalmitis is of grave concern. To date, four cases of Enterococcus casseliflavus endophthalmitis have been reported in the literature. We describe the first case of Enterococcus casseliflavus endophthalmitis associated with injury caused by a pig and the treatment regimen. In addition, we review the literature and discuss the clinical management and prognosis of this disease. |
