In these two pilot studies pathogens responsible for causing diarrhoea in Bangladeshi children with cancer were explored. In both studies there were an abundance of parasites including Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium, as well as some bacteria, notably non-toxigenic Clostridium difficile. |
