Haemophagocytic syndrome is a rare extrapancreatic manifestation of acute pancreatitis. We herein report the first case to share our experience with a very rarely clinical entity of triggering haemophagocytic syndrome but without any previous history. The patient responded well to the immunosuppressive therapy. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial. |
