Core Tip This study uncovered that necroptosis existed in brain of rat with cerebral hemorrhage (CH). Further exploration revealed that receptor interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) mediated necroptosis in CH, and cross electro-nape acupuncture (CENA) suppressed RIPK1 to ameliorate brain damage of rats with CH. Moreover, CENA could inhibit inflammation in CH. Therefore, these results suggested a neuroprotective role of CENA by targeting RIPK1-mediated necroptosis in rats with CH.
