Core Tip |
A 46-year-old female trauma patient with pulmonary contusion had similarities to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on computed tomography 1 d after injury. Her epidemiological history was highly suspect for COVID-19. However, the patient was not tested for COVID-19, and the imaging features improved after conservative treatment. This report suggests that in view of the risk of COVID-19 pneumonia, all trauma patients should undergo epidemiological investigations and chest computed tomography examinations, and strict and standardized processing procedures are needed. |
