Heterophilic antibodies should be considered while elevated D-dimer value is not in conformity with clinical evidence. We will keep on doing subsequent serial monitoring of D-dimer values with anti-virus therapy and more research need to be done to verify the exact fragment to improve the D-dimer test in the near future. |
