Core Tip It is essential for regenerative medicine research to propose a practical way of efficient differentiation of pluripotent stem cells. After considering the advantages and limitations of current approaches, we summarized the ideal conditions and systems. We also provided potential choices for differentiating human pluripotent stem cells efficiently and robustly into target cells and tissues in different germ layers.
