Core Tip |
In this study, “Effect of treating chronic hepatitis C with direct-acting antivirals on extrahepatic cutaneous manifestations”, we investigated the impact of hepatitis C virus (HCV) clearance by using direct acting antiviral on the dermatological extrahepatic manifestations of HCV. Up to our knowledge, this is the largest cohort of patients with cutaneous manifestations of HCV to be treated in the literature (30 patients). Besides, we used the dermoscopy for the first time in this type of study to better evaluate the response on cutaneous diseases. |
