| Core Tip |
Traumatic neuroma of the cystic duct is rare. In these cases; we have shown that this tumor can be mistaken for gastrointestinal subepithelial tumors (GSTs) by compression of the gastrointestinal wall. Abdominal computed tomography reports and patients’ medical history need to be considered before choosing surgical ablation of GSTs. In addition, it is recommended to consider laparoscopy and endoscopy cooperative surgery when surgically resecting a gastroduodenal subepithelial tumor. |
