Few cases of ulcerative colitis have dermatomyositis (DM) as complication. DM may be a less frequent extraintestinal manifestation of ulcerative colitis. Infliximab is effective in the treatment of ulcerative colitis in patients with autoimmune disease or poor hormone response. |
