| Core Tip |
Granular cell tumor (GCT) of the pancreas is a rare neurogenic tumor. We present a rare case of pancreatic GCT, which recovered successfully after surgical treatment. We reviewed 7 previous cases of the same tumor and conclude that most of the pancreatic GCTs are benign, but there is a potential malignancy. Surgery is an important treatment for this disease , and there is a certain rate of tumor metastasis and recurrence after surgery, so regular reexamination should be insisted on. |
