Very few researchers have focused on the validity of the risk score models in predicting the severity of coronary artery disease. In our study, a total of 6813 consecutive patients who underwent diagnostic coronary angiography were enrolled. The prediction for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk in China (China-PAR) score was calculated for each patient and coronary artery disease severity was assessed by the Gensini score. Finnally, China-PAR scoring system was discovered to be applicable in the estimation of both the presence and severity of coronary artery disease in addition to their role in predicting cardiovascular events. |
