Core Tip |
The intraoperative evaluation of the rotator cuff tear size and pattern contributes to the choice of the technique and the prognosis of the repair. The purpose of the study was to determine the accuracy of arthroscopic measurement of the tears’ size comparing them with the open technique. A constant underestimation of specific dimensions of the tears was found when measured with an arthroscopic probe compared to the open measurements. |
