The robotic Whipple procedure is a safe and technically feasible surgical operation. Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy has shown favorable outcomes and is currently increasing in widespread implementation. Prospective trials are needed before this relatively new approach can be fully adopted as a standard of care in patients with pancreatic neoplasms. |
