Core Tip	Perioperative pneumothorax is a rare but dangerous complication, requiring urgent diagnosis and treatment. Traditional gold standard, computed tomography, is not applicable to confirm pneumothorax during operation. Lung ultrasonography, with the advantages of radiation-free and convenience, can provide rapid diagnosis and treatment of this complication.
