| Core Tip |
We analyzed a case of severe methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteremia who failed to respond to first line treatment using vancomycin. We believe that our study makes a significant contribution to the literature because it indicates that daptomycin combined with linezolid is an effective remedy for bacteremia caused by MRSA with pulmonary complications. |
