Although bloodstream infection (BSI) is the most significant risk event after liver transplantation (LT) in children, few studies have indicated associated clinical profile and risks. In this study, BSI was frequently observed in the year after pediatric LT and common pathogens were analyzed. Young age, growth failure, use of liver support system, and long hospital stay were independent risk factors of BSI. |
