| Core Tip |
Gall bladder (GB) polyps are commonly found in routine abdominal ultrasound examination; however, GB carcinoid tumors are rare, especially with the coexistence of an adenocarcinoma component. Physicians should be aware of rapidly growing GB polyps; in those cases, imaging examinations such as contrast-enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are needed to elucidate the nature of these lesions. |
