Core Tip |
Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) is characterized by unexplained eosinophilia in the blood and tissues. Neurologic and cardiac involvement in patients with HES is common and variable. Eosinophil-mediated arterial vascular involvement is a rare manifestation of HES. This rare case of HES was accompanied by acute ischemic stroke, myocardial infarction and arterial vascular involvement. Early diagnosis and rapid reduction of eosinophils may lead to a good prognosis. |
