Isolated splenic metastasis from thymic carcinoma is very rare. Nevertheless, splenic metastasis should be taken into consideration, although it is often asymptomatic. Our case emphasizes the utility of fluorodeoxyglucose -positron emission tomography for metastasis detection in thymic carcinoma. |
