Core Tip |
Epstein-Barr virus associated smooth muscle tumor (EBV-SMT) is a rare oncological entity. Only a handful of case series have shed light on the presence of EBV-SMT in individuals, most of whom are immunocompromised. EBV-SMT should not be confused with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder. Histopathology should help guide the diagnosis. |
